This is a great, heartfelt film. I think it's telling that the negative reviews here are barely comprehensible or literate!

Movie not intended for children. I still regret seeing this movie, it was just very strange with a lot of dark undertones. If you are a parent that is concerned about what your child watches scratch this movie off of your watch-list.Theres a lot an read through the lines you'll find that there's a lot of hidden messages. It just seems that the movie pushes the theme "Do what you like with your life (i.e. run-away, disrespect your mother, act like a jack-ass) at then end your parents will still love you and accept you regardless of your actions."

Before I got the movie on DVD I was crazy about it. It just seemed like a great movie. When I finally got it on march 6th It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It was short. The monsters were inunderstandable and too smart to be monsters. Overall the movie was average and deserves three stars.

This is not for children! This is a movie about the dark emotional undertones found within a disfunctional family. The central monster character named Carol has anger issues. He is dark and depressing and is in need of serious therapy. He is the elephant in the room that is holding everyone hostage to his dark, angry unpredicatable moods. I would only recommend this movie for a twenty something young adult that is still struggling to figure out their misserable childhood. It is not for innocent children or well adjusted adults. It is for people that are still brooding over old wounds. Stay away unless you like it dark!

It was an okay movie, but it was loud and weird, not a children's movie like i expected. The "Wild Things" didnt look very real.. they looked like puppets. Some parts were just plain frighting...
